SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Puppy Foundations 

6 weeks    $245

Puppies ages 13 weeks to 7 months are encouraged to join this class to work on basic commands and continue their work on having good manners. Emphasis will be placed on obedience to include sit, down, stay, come, heel, and good leash walking. In this class we also address the adolescent stage of a growing dog and the different challenges that may present during that time.

Advanced Puppy

6 weeks    $245

Puppies ages between six months and one year are encouraged to join this class to continue commands and manners started in Puppy Foundations or equivalent. This course will continue to refine your puppy’s basic commands, teach your puppy to pay attention around distractions, and to respond when the reward is not visible. Common “Teenage Issues” are also discussed in class, i.e. general defiance, lack of attention, being easily distracted, poor leash manners, etc.

Basic Obedience

6 weeks    $245

Our basic obedience course is designed for dogs ages 7 months and up who have had no or limited experience with training. For those with a newly adopted dog, this class would be a wonderful starting point!

Topics covered in this class will include sit, down, stay, leave it, coming when called, good leash walking, getting and maintaining your dog's attention. We will also work on proper manners around other dogs and people and address common concerns such as jumping and barking.

Intermediate Obedience

6 weeks    $245

This class is geared towards those with dogs who have a good understanding of their basic obedience commands or for those who have completed our Puppy Foundations or Basic Obedience classes. 

Emphasis will be placed on solidifying your dog's skills and obedience around distractions in increasingly difficult environments even when treats are not visible.

Dog Training

Advanced
Obedience

6 weeks    $245

This advanced-level class is designed for dogs and handlers who have completed basic and intermediate obedience and are ready to elevate their skills in real‑world scenarios. We focus on strengthening reliability, precision, and engagement around higher levels of distraction.

 

This class is ideal for teams looking to refine obedience, strengthen trust, and achieve dependable performance in everyday life.

Canine Good Citizen

6 weeks    $245

CGC test only    $30

This class is designed for those interested in the next level of advanced training. The class follows the standards of the AKC Canine Good Citizen program and teaches the skills required for that test. 

Skills taught in this class include polite greetings, basic obedience skills, polite behavior around dogs on leash, and maintaining neutrality when around different distractions. At the end of the 6-week course all skills should be able to be performed with no food rewards or inhibitive training equipment. 

At the end of this course, the handler and dog team will be given the Canine Good Citizen Test, and upon passing will receive an AKC certificate and title.

Community Canine

6 weeks    $245

prerequisite: CGC certification

Dogs who have a completed Canine Good Citizen certification are eligible for our Community Canine class, which takes place at different locations in the community each week. The goal of this class is to learn to implement previously acquired CGC skills in public spaces in difficult, distracting environments. 

At the end of this course you will have an opportunity to earn an AKC title for your dog by successfully completing the AKC Community Canine test.

Therapy Prep

6 weeks    $245

prerequisite: CGC certification

This class serves as an introduction into the world of Animal Assisted Interactions. 

We have designed this course to introduce dogs and owners to the skills necessary to be a successful therapy animal team, as well as the skills needed to pass an evaluation by an international therapy dog organization.

 

This course gives teams a broad education of the many different ways therapy animals can be used.  At the end of the course, the student will be ready to choose whichever type of therapy they are best suited for.

*please note that this class is NOT designed for service dog training in which a dog is trained to help a specific individual with a disability*

Tricks and Games

6 weeks    $245

In this class, you and your dog will learn some fun, entertaining tricks to delight everyone they meet. 

In this class you will learn different methods for trick training as well as teaching your dog a variety of basic tricks such as sit pretty, roll over, spin, crawl, and more! The sky's the limit so if you've been waiting for an opportunity to see all that your dog can do, this class is for you!

 

For those who are interested, this course can be used to earn the AKC Novice Trick Title.

Tricks and Games for Therapy Dogs

Looking to get your dog more involved in a therapy session? Want to wow the crowd when asked, "What tricks do they know?" Then this class is for you!

This course will teach tricks that range from the practical to the entertaining. As well as addressing how to apply known tricks to meet session goals and incorporate people into the interaction.

This course is for students who have completed the Therapy Preparation Class or successfully complete therapy dog testing elsewhere (proof of completion is required).
